Maroubra has some excellent golf courses nearby. Cronulla beach is one of the best known surfing beaches in Australia, likewise Manly beach which is a little to the north of Sydney. Manly is found to the north of Sydney and has long been a popular holiday resort type place. Sydney harbour is next to Manly Beach, and it’s a good base for sailing and yacht clubs.
