The zoo has one various tourism awards and is now on most peoples “must see” list for holidays to Austrailia. The zoo was opened in 1970 and quickly grew in popularity, and is now an excellent place for family holidays.
Steve Irwin (aka Crocodle Hunter) took over the zoo in the early 1990’s, and it has been popular since. Holidays aren’t the same if the zoo isn’t visited! The zoo has it’s address in Queensland, though there are also other interesting zoos in Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide. However, the zoo in Queensland remains the famous of Australia's Zoos.
