New York City is the true hub of USA. In addition to fantastic shopping, entertainment and nightlife, the city has a host of monuments and attractions that enthrall visitors. The Empire state building (see photo on the right) used to be the worlds largest, but that crown has now been lost. The Statue of Liberty sums what New Yorkers stand for as it dominates the skyline of much of the city. But most visited of all of is, a little surprisingly, the centre, focal point of New York - Times Square.
